Starting your day with sex in bed has some amazing benefits (fun included)!
Bonding with your partner is increased
Psychologists say that when you begin your day having sex with your partner, you share feelings of bliss that remain with each of you throughout the day and provide secured feelings and reassurance of ‘being there for each other’. You are then more able to face difficulties and manage issues you may confront. It is proven by research that somewhere in the subconscious mind, a feeling of oneness exists when it is ignited in the early morning. Making love in the morning releases oxytocin, a feel-good chemical, which helps couples feel bonded and loving all day long.
Improves fertility in women and men
Sperm quality and fertility in women can be improved as a result of frequent morning sex. In a study conducted at the Sydney IVF Clinic in Wollongong, AU, researchers studied 118 men who had higher than normal DNA sperm damage accessed by the DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI). Australian scientists instructed the men to ejaculate daily for one week to lessen their DNA sperm damage. The study showed that 96 of the men experienced a 12 percent decrease in sperm damage. A woman’s fertility increases with less DNA damage of sperm.
Decreases cardiovascular risks
The risk of having a heart attack or stroke can be cut in half by having morning sex multiple times a week. Researchers followed 1,000 middle-aged men over a period of 10 years, in a study conducted at Queens University in Belfast. They compared the participants in their study to participants of a study published in the British Medical Journal to study how a man’s health can be affected by having an orgasm. Researchers looked at the cardiovascular health of men, as a follow-up, and found that he can reduce his risk of cardiovascular disease by half by having sex 2-3 times every week.
Helps you have healthy skin and hair
When you climax while making love in the morning, chemicals are released that can increase estrogen levels in the body and enhance the quality of your hair, skin and nails. Additionally, blood circulation is improved, which helps carry oxygen to the skin and provides your face with a natural glow, possibly nourishing your hair.
An increase in immunity
During morning sex, the production of Immunoglobulin A (an antibody that protects against infection) is increased. During sex, the production of IgA takes place in mucosal linings of the female genital tract that provides a barrier to prevent transmission of infectious diseases.
In the morning, after being recharged with a night of sleep, the testosterone level in men is highest.
It’s also just…fun! So, instead of picking up a cup of coffee and a crossword puzzle, why not wake up your partner and, well, make morning love!
